Cañon City, Colorado is a breathtaking slice of America. Sprawling vistas. Towering rock formations. A plethora of bald eagles. Royal Gorge Route Railroad had already hired us for a full rebrand and web design when they had the idea for a companion site highlighting local businesses and attractions that would further incentivize tourists to visit the area. Our mission? To elevate Cañon City’s website and maintain it’s relevance throughout the region.
What We Did
We worked in tandem with Cañon City’s board of tourism to compile a list of the best restaurants, bars, hotels, shops, and other attractions in the Royal Gorge region. The site features vibrant images and video with views from the Royal Gorge, and uses a simple navigation system for discovering nearby attractions. The Cañon City site is filled to the brim with new updates, blogs, and suggestions about the latest restaurants and attractions you should visit while in Cañon City, creating an atmosphere that uplifts and promotes the entire area.
